# About fija

**fija** is transforming how people earn yield on their crypto assets with a **compliant**, **transparent**, and **easy-to-use** “Crypto Earn” product.

fija can be used either **directly via the** [**fija App**](https://app.fija.finance/) by retail or institutional investors, or **as a yield integration layer via smart contracts and APIs**, designed for crypto platforms, brokers, banks, and custodians.

fija’s product incorporates **automated DeFi strategies**, designed by industry experts and tokenized for seamless integration. These strategies address the needs of the 88% of European crypto holders who want to earn interest on their crypto assets, but haven’t yet found a way to do so.

As a compliant yield layer for crypto, **built as MiCAR/MiFID-aligned infrastructure**, fija enables exchanges, neobanks, brokers, and other multipliers to offer **automated yield products** that prioritize **transparency**, **user control**, and **regulatory compliance**. Institutional investors and corporate treasuries can also leverage these strategies **directly**.

In doing so, fija **bridges the gap between traditional and decentralized finance**, making DeFi more accessible, sustainable, and integrated into the broader financial ecosystem.
